
BACKGROUND:
When Minute Maid® came up with an idea for a high-end "Win a Bed & Breakfast" promotion, it needed a display supplier who could squeeze the most promotional power from an arena generally not suited for temporary POP. It turned to Drake Display.
OBJECTIVE:
Dramatically highlight the promotion via a core dress-up display featured in the frozen-food section of grocery stores. A two-sided pole topper mounted on a coffin freezer bin would pair with fixture signage and floor graphics to lure shoppers.
SOLUTION:
Drake poured on the marketing magic with a lightweight, corrugated topper complete with a laminated UV litho label featuring moisture-resistant adhesives. Floor graphics in front of the freezer reinforced the upscale feel, while static-cling graphics on adjacent freezer doors directed traffic to the counter aisle promotion as a finishing touch.
RESULTS:
Drake's inventive spin on dressing up a little-used POP medium — refrigerated fixtures — resulted in a flawless execution of the elegant look Minute Maid sought for its promotion.
